I'd consider the the, like a Chevy Silverado and a GMC Sierra. The gx470 isn't really a luxury land cruiser because the land cruiser is already luxury. There hasn't been much distinction in them in quite a few years

The GX470, 4th gen 4Runner, and 2nd gen Taco were all built off the Toyota 120 platform. Their frames were all related. The Gx470 and 4th gen 4Runner had the same V8, transmission, center diff, and axles.

What you are thinking of is the LX570. The LX is basically a Land Cruiser with a better interior and different front and rear clips.

But the GX470 is not the same as the LX570.

Come on, folks. You are all Toyota SUV enthusiasts. You should know better than to confuse the LX and GX.

edit: I just deleted the post I just made because I don't care to argue so I didn't want to go back and forth. But you're right I didn't even look at the second page so I copied the gx470 down and it should've been the lx570.

Double Edit: But like you said I am a Toyota enthusiast. Nowhere close to a Lexus enthusiast.. Except for the f sport's but I don't know a thing about them

The GX470 is basically the Land Cruiser Prado in other markets. So a Toyota enthusiast should recognize that. :wink2:

4th Gen V8 Ltd. Luxury iwth leather and lots of options, decent sound system, soft ride with air bag and Xreas and enough power to pass at highway speeds or tow. I tow a 3000 lb boat with no problems.
