That's perfect. You can also check your local home depot or lowes.

You do know that the deckplate does nothing. No added power or increase in MPG.

Is your rig a 2002?
There is a tube that closes down the intake inside the inner fender. Take that off and you will gain power and MPGs.

That's not true, I'm sure it makes it louder, and it's a great way to increase your chances of sucking in water!

I would take a guess and would put the plate on before going through water crossings.....

I've used an application it's like a pocket dino for my iphone. I took a test before and after, I dropped half a second from my 0-60 test. If that makes a difference at all. lol

Not necessarily. Don't quote me on this, but I am sure you don't need to put it on unless there is heavy rain or flooding. (or maybe snow too?)

Well I would throw it on with my luck. I could go through Nevada and find a hurricane.....

Not even sure if I am gonna do this mod. Just a thought to go with the other intake mod I was reading about from Ripcord.

There is this tube in the later 3rd gens. I think they started adding in 99. My 2000 had it. The intake hole is very small.
It's inside the inner fender and is on the end of the elbow.
