Hi everyone, first post just got a 07 sport edition v8
So I figured its time to sign up but I've seen lots of great threads

Anyway was looking for info ( should this be in the 4th gen
Section?) about tires since I need them for safety and have to
Do this in a rush. So my question is what tire size will offer me
The best winter performance. I've looked into myself and found
A lot I people saying skinny tires will dig in an find ashpault or
Snow base, gravel, whatever, in moderate snow and slush. Wide
Tires might keep you from digging in deep snow, floating on top.
I deal with the city snow during the week and the deep snow on
Weekends. I want a compromise. I also don't have a lift yet but
Will be putting one in when it gets warm enough to correct this
Ground clearance issue. So what do you guys think? I'm thinking
265/70 17 or 255/70 17 or the 16" version of those. Also does anyone
Think I ll be hurting myself by not waiting for the lift and going taller?
