Looking to pick up a set for Wheeling found these on Amazon for $27 delivered with decent reviews. Any advice?

what i do is i set them to rough range and they slow down towards the end.

i usually screw them on, go take a piss and remove and adjust to final psi. i am done before all those arb guys with less work.
 
These are much less than the Staun or Coyote brands. Cheap knockoffs or just a better value?

I find you usually get what you pay for, but not always...

I have that set, I don't use it because it's impossible to get the set screws to be accurate. You end up with different pressure on different tires. I ended up getting the ARB deflators.
 
I don't know what the other comments are talking about. Unless I just got a bad set, they are slower than the ARB deflators and don't work well at all. They also make deflators which you can put your pressure guage on while they are deflating and see how low...those work way better than these.

I'm not trying to argue, I'm just trying to save others from buying a useless product.

Those boulder deflators did not work for me, 2 of them kept deflating past the set point despite multiple attempts to reset them. Luckily I caught it when I still had about 10psi.

They gave me a full refund and no issues returning

Not to hijack; I have the stauns(2; gave the other 2 away to a wheeling bro) I think they work great and very accurate.....untill you let someone use them, that doesn't know how to attach them. I let someone use them and instead of gripping on the lower stationary part, they gripped on the top/lock ring and messed up the calibration. Lesson learned
 
I have the stauns and as long as you hold the bottom part of it while screwing them on they work great. Not a single issue have had them for 6 year's.
 
Got an ARB deflator for a decent price but that's a nice little kit! Not to sure how I feel about the ARB unit unscrewing the valve cores every time they're aired-down but it is what it is now...
 
I have both the stauns and the ARB unit.

I prefer the stauns for ease of use and have it set to 18 psi. If I want any other pressure, I break out the ARB.
 
I made my own :) . This is Version 2.0 that I clearly cobbled together.

To deflate, I hook up all for tires, then use the release valve to deflate them tires at the same time, to the same pressure. It takes about 10 seconds per 5 PSI, and I just stop periodically to check the gauge on the regulator. I initially thought I could leave the regulator set to a specific PSI and it would auto-deflate, but the release rate is so slow it took like 40 mins to actually deflate the tires from 40 to 15 PSI, heh.

To inflate, I hook the coupler to one affixed to my rear bumper that comes from my pump. However, because I used a regulator valve on the inflator/deflator, I can keep my pump's line pressure at 90+ PSI, and the valve on my inflator / deflator simply starts to hiss when I reach target pressure. It takes 9.5 minutes to go from 15 to 40 PSI, and they are all at the exact same pressure.

Haha feel free! I have far less time than money these days so if you want to take the time to put a few of these together, have at it! I think it would have cost me something like $50-60 to make, but you could probanly get those costs down with a bulk order.

I used the following supplies, purchased from mostly ebay

--6mm Pneumatic tube (about 40ft I think).
--6x 1/4 NPT Male to 6mm Push Connector
----(2 on the inputs, and one for each tire).
--2x 6mm Push Connection Y fitting
--4x Closed locking shrader connections
--Basic inline regulator from Harbor Freight. (Hook the outlet side to the tire system, and plug the inlet side).

--Version 2.1 will replace all the brass T-fittings with a 5-way brass block so dramatically decrease the size of the object. There is one on Amazon for like $12.

I just purchased the Staun's. I'd rather pay for quality that will last. Seems much better to just screw these 4 in to each tire and wait 5 or 10 minutes and be done with it.
