Delayed brake release

Ok, so I just passed 50K on my '05 Runner. In the past couple months I've started to notice that when I stop (not a fast stop, just a nice normal slow stop) at a light and hold the brakes for a minute or two my brakes seem to catch when I release them.

It feels like it's the rear brakes. They seem to let go when the wheel starts to turn. I haven't noticed any decrease in my braking performance. I'm just concerned about what it may means. My best guess is that maybe there's a leak in the brake line, but since I havn't done a lot of work on my brakes, I have no idea.

Are you sure it's the brakes, and not the 'infamous' drivehshaft clunk?

Yeah, I agree. It's easy for someone to mistake the driveshaft clunk with a brake problem.

He should just lube the driveshaft and see if that clears up the problem.

Thanks for the input. I've read through the main driveshaft clunk thread and I think that's my problem. I'll get under there this weekend and lube it up. Thanks!
