These are the Demello Sliders I ordered around the first of the year. Pics are pre-OME lift.
Really like the design, and very well made. The mesh on the kickout is a perfect rear step.
Since each was a build to order, I did have them pull the sliders in by 1" so they tucked a little more under the running boards than other 4Runner versions they offered.

Demello no longer makes these anymore due to legal issues. Here are some pics of his x-wings from the fj forum.

I checked out Domello's website and looky whaat they have now :frog:

I might stop by Sunday morning to check out the X-wings on a 4th Gen, I can maybe snap some photos if he will let me.

I stopped by Domello's shop on Monday to check out the new sliders in person. They aren't too bad at all, I just have to see if they are functional for my needs and the family needs.
I snapped some pictures from Jason's ride, asked him if it was ok for me to share and he said yes, nice guy. It's a 4th Gen, but you can get an idea.

Installed Demello Hybrid Sliders on 2014 TE with KDSS
I picked up a pair of hybrid sliders last week from Demello in Riverside to save on shipping and opted to install them myself to save the $75 labor charge. Without any documented instructions from Demello, I depended on my own mechanical skills. The passenger side was a piece of cake after I removed the plastic frame inserts/plugs. I tried to mount the sliders before removing those and the slider's mounting plate would not lie flush against the frame. Did everyone else remove these as well? The inserts were not on the driver's side except for one, I think. I did find some instructions on this forum which were invaluable when trying to remove the KDSS unit from the frame. Question for everyone with these sliders: There is a large gap between the cross members that connect the slider bar to the mountain plate (see picture below).
Do rocks ever get between there and stop the truck from sliding? I was surprised that there was not an additional bar to protect the KDSS system. Has anyone added anything extra to remedy this? I was thinking of adding a flat strip of steel with right angled ends that could be mounted to the cross members (see screenshot with red drawing).
