Denso radiator damaged shipping, should I still install it?

That slightly bent hanger tab and couple of very lightly bent fins is of zero concern. I can barely call it "damage" lol Bend the tab with a pair of pliers and I would ignore the fins unless you want to use a pick to straighten them. Will not make a difference temp wise.

Mine luckily arrived in once piece and packaging was all together. However I did not buy from Amazon.

Being on the sloped driveway, doubt you will have much air trappd in the system. Just run it as normal and air will work its way out if there is any. Just check radiator coolant level and tank level every few days for a week or so.

Agree! If the OP's picture is representative of the condition of the radiator and there's no leaks, there is no problem. The only damage shown is a slightly bent fin and an unaligned mount that can be found on just about every new radiator. I'd pay Amazon in full and move on.

You do realize that the packaging is Denso's problem, right? Amazon just slaps a shipping label on it. If they opened up the Denso box to put more foam, people would ***** that their product was opened. Amazon always has good service when it comes to things like this.

I ordered a Denso, too. Poorly packaged like yours, with bent tabs and a couple bent fins, but no other damage. I didn't report the damage, but maybe I should have. I installed it, few thousand miles later and no problems.

Well, I guess I get to keep it and get a refund after all! I just got an email back from Amazon, and they said they understood and offered it as a one-time courtesy. Not too shabby!
