I had a run away shopping cart hit my door the other day and I got my first DING. I parked out in the middle of no where but with the help of the wind and some bad luck it still found me! Has anyone tried Dent Wizard Co.? There is no damage to the paint, just one of those dents that you notice when you look down the side.

I've used them (Torrance) and they work great and only take about 45 minutes. There are some areas they cannot do but call them and check it out.

I haven`t had to use them yet, but I`ve seen some of they`re work. Small dents become unnoticable, and big dents virtually dissappear, providing it isn`t right on a corner.
They took a ding out of my S2000 before, and it was on a body line. Great job, it was about $100, but they give you a loaner too if you need it.
Off topic, I just noticed a scrape on the top of my spoiler, and I have no idea how it happened. I don't drive under and low clearance areas, and it's only on the corner.... can't figure it out, but it's annoying the heck out of me!

i've never used them, but here's something to think about: if you're just removing the dent and not repainting (which i'd assume you'd do because there's no damage to the paint) you may have problems. if you bend the metal back it may weaken the paint even more and it could start chiping. it may be worth it just to leave the dent there if it's just a small ding.

I actually found a dent in my fender a few days after buying my new 4Runner, but the odd thing was, it was dented OUT instead of IN, as if someone had hit it from the inside! I was really upset and brought it back to the dealer and they told me it was a "factory defect" and agreed to fix it for free.
Apparently the dealer has a guy that they hire, that comes out once a week to repair dents on new cars and he did a really good job. Apparently he knows how to use the correct amount of heat so that the paint isn't messed up during the dent removal process.
So you might want to check with your dealer and find out who they use.

They use Dent Wizard or equivalent at dealerships. 80% of the socal dealers use dent wizard for new car dents (from shipping, for example).
Call your local dealerships and ask for a reference on paintless dent repair. Before I did mine (on a previous car) I called the local Porsche/Audi/Jag dealer, Toyota and Nissan dealers. They all use Dent Wizard.

I used DentWizard in Torrance on my 95 300ZX. They did great work on the Dents but they also scratched my window with their tools. For access to fenders and such, they like to drill holes in the wheel wells or the door sills. I'm not too keen on that part.
Typically, they don't like you to watch, but you may want to insist just so you can stop them if they start to do something you don't agree with.

I went to Dent Wizard and they fixed my shopping cart damage. Can't tell it ever happened. There was a car there with baseball size hail damage he was working on with some big dents. After watching him work I was sold. He spent about 20 min on my truck working through the window seal. Cost me 100 bucks.

Some of the dents they pulled out were amazing. They had a book of photos (5x7 prints, not some retouched photo array) of customer cars and there were alot of amazing ones- like a dent the size of your butt in a Porsche fender, a rear Z3 fender caved in, etc.
Of course if the paint is broken or it's in a certain area, they can't fix it but they did an awesome job on my old car
