Dented Armrest?!

I purchased my 5th Gen in March and recently I have noticed that my elbow has been leaving a permanent dent in the cushioning on the top of my center consol armrest. Has anyone else experienced this? I could adjust the way I hold the steering wheel. I don"t feel that I am putting too much pressure on the rest. pictures to follow.

After driving across the country in 3 days, I too had the infamous "elbow dent". I changed how I hold my arm and it took a few weeks to undent.

It seems like it has too much "memory" if you ask me.

You should see how mine looked on Sa****ay after leaving a heavy mesh bag on it. Took 2 days but it disappeared.

speaking of dents, notice how those of us with the 3rd row find that when the 3rd row is folded flat, the headrests leave a dent from being closed tightly against the seats when they are folded.
I also noticed how the carpeting in the back gets dented when the seats are down and anything remotely "weighty" is placed on it.
