Sorry no big trips guys I leave for my mission on April 1st,

I am taking the 4runner to "flatnasty" offroad park feb 28th I think, or something while I'm at the road rally in Salem missiori,

so is Fort Collins a good city to live in?

im looking to make my way to Colorado soon and i was thinking of Durango but it seem too far south for me

So anything help from you guys would be great.

I personally hate ft. collins. It smell like cow sh*t and I dont know how old you are but theres a lot of young kids there and it drives me nuts. If youre gonna move to CO I would move to either Denver or Boulder if you want to live in a bigger city. There's a lot of really nice suburbs on the west side of Denver if you dont want to live in a big city and Boulder is a nice college town but its got a high enough population, it doesnt feel like its swarming with kids. Boulder is about the size of Redding, CA. If you want to live in a smaller mountain town, conifer or evergreen are bigger towns that are in the mountains but only a 20min drive from Denver. Durango is really nice and is #4 in my top 5 favorite places in CO heres a thread about it http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47162 and I would live there if could. Theres also a town called Pagosa Springs in the same area as Durngo but its about and hour north, and its a really nice place too. Heres a list of places in CO I would like to live. You can search them on Google.

Sounds like your deciding based on school? Durango is pretty far south... But I think Ft. Collins is too far north. I think its like an hour and a half drive from denver and like 20 minutes from Wyoming. It's not a bad town or anything, just a little too far away from everything for me. It's definitely a college town.

So I have a problem, I might not be in town till 10 pm, my buddy wants to ride back with me but he can't leave his home town till 2, so 8 hour drive puts me in Denver at 10, but his parents are not sure if he will go with me, if he is able to go I won't be at daves and busters at 7, but I will be in danver around 10

yeah im 20 so a college town is good for me but i just want to do all of the outdoor sports as im always snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, etc etc......
so somewhere that is close to all of those kinds of activities to do that would be cool. and i like the mid sized town around 100k people. but ive heard Denver is a cool place same with Colorado Springs but its hard to get a feel for the actual towns without visiting them unfortunately i live in CA so its distant ha.
