Thanks Ron! I am more nervous about the tires myself as they look a lot more aggressive in person but still an AT; similar to the Duratracs but a lot more beef to them especially in the sidewall. Anyway, can't wait to see how they look once mounted and then see how they perform.

And thanks for the offer on the Gobi...might take you up on it! :biggrin2:

Well, had somewhat of a bummer tonight. Went to pick up the 4Runner tonight since Desert Rat was finishing up the alignment and said it would be ready to go. Unfortunately, after I showed up they concluded that they couldn't get the right spec on the alignment after the lift so the consensus is we need to go with an aftermarket UCA to get the right camber. Hopefully they can find some LRAs, Icons, or Chaos UCAs tomorrow and finish up!

On the upside, the 4Runner looks fantastic with the lift and new wheels/tires. The tires are extremely aggressive looking. What was a surprise was how high the 4Runner now looks with the lift (currently set at 3-inches but room for more) and taller tires. I can't wait to get it tomorrow and drive it.
 
Looking great! When it is done we will need to meet up. I would be happy to snap a few shots for you as well.

There are a ton of threads on here regarding alignment with stock UCAs. I had a full Radflo lift for 3 years before adding aftermarket UCAs. You need to search and give the alignment guy the data...basically you need caster at 4...then dial the rest in.

Got a call from Desert Rat this morning; they found a set of Light Racing UCAs for my 4Runner so they are installing them. Should have the alignment shoud be done soon after and finally go pick up the truck! Woohoo!

Yeah, thanks. I did quite a bit of searching on that as well (and probably understood half of what I read...lol); the alignment guy said he was used to doing that for the pre-2014 models but some reason couldn't dial in the 1% needed. Anyway, I was thinking I would go with the UCAs so I guess this all the excuse I need to get them....lol.

The upside is they offered me the UCAs at cost with no additional labor for the install since the truck wasn't ready as promised. So that was good enough for me!
 
Seems like a good deal. I've been running the same UCAs on my '08 for quite a while now with no issues. Plenty of adjustment for alignments!
 
AMAZING! Now I can't wait until this weekend. My BOSS kit gets here Friday along with ST Maxx's in 255/80/17
