Great input....thanks [MENTION=107119]2014 Warthog[/MENTION]! Now that you mentioned that, I do recall reading that from past forums but I guess it was buried too deep in my scrambled brain to recall (like most things it seems nowadays...lol).

Yep. I'm old school though I use a squeegee wrapped in a rag lol. In another lifetime I worked as a bodyman in high school. I was always the guy that got to put the woodgrain on those classic '70's station wagons. I learned a lot about applying vinyl with those kits.

the poor people at the end of that road that just had their retinas burned out by your epic lighting - way awesome! Also - the truck is looking amazing.

Is there a way to wire those D2s to your regular driving lights instead of installing a separate switch, or would you recommend keeping it separate??

hehe...it is pretty ridiculous but can't wait to use it when finally up in the mountains camping or maybe some night trailing. But sure can't turn these on around town...lol.

Thanks! Yeah, good thing that is my house down the road with nobody else beside me...lol.

You can connect the D2s to the regular driving lights but I sure wouldn't do it. That pic with just the D2s on is a little deceiving as they are a lot brighter than shown there. Here is a better pic I posted previously; you'll blind anyone coming at you.

Yah I will second DD on not hooking these up to your driving lights, even high beams. The light output from even the Dually/D2 is literally blinding, especially if you get a direct hit. I have hyper spots mounted on my hood, and they would put you in the ditch if you got an eyeful of those.

Sorry to thread jack! The output on them really is hard to convey in a picture, but you catch someone with these, they wont stay on the road haha!

No, the D2s are very tight and stable and don't have any light bouncing around at all when in use.

Perfect - Might move my lights from behind my grille into an orientation like this, looks simple enough!
 
Here you can see the spread effect of the curved light bar from an angle shot; the light spread is great as you illuminate peripherally as well.

This is true. At the SEMA cruise in November, we were standing at the end of a turn. There were a ton of vehicles rocking LED lights and when they were pointed at us you couldn't even look at them. The light even messed up a bunch of photos I was taking.

I need to get some LED lights for both 4runners.
