Destination A/T or Dueler A/T Revo?

I am looking at a pretty good deal on some tires from a local shop and have to figure out which I want relatively soon. The choices are Firestone Destination A/T or Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo. Both 265/65-17. My research on these consist of looking over Tirerack's impressive number of reviews and searching here. Destination A/T is rated #1 in that size, the Duelers are close behind. All things equal Duelers are a bit better, but the difference is price. I believe both come with 50,000 treadlife warranty.

Destination A/T: $143.95 each ($676 out the door) normally ~$160 each
Dueler A/T Revo: $169 each ($775 out the door) normally ~$200+ each

The Duelers are being discounted heavy because the Revo 2s are out or coming out. I feel like the Destination is a little more highway-like which fits my actual driving habits (compared to my wishful driving habits). Anyways, is the $100 upgrade worth it? I feel like psychologically I'm leaning that way just because it's a "better deal."

The Revos, while not perfect, are amazing in the rain. If you want an A/T and do a lot of highway driving that'd be a good choice. Another plus is the Revo's seem balance with very little weight and they hold balance well, another nice thing for those highway miles.

I personally would go the extra $100. If the difference was $170 or more I might try the Firestones.

destinations, my dad has em on his f250 same size... i told him to go 34" but noooo... anyways they are awesome!!! plain and simple

The destinations are buy 3 get one free at firestone right now. I was quoted $605 out the door including tax and road hazard.

60,000 plus on my Revos and the best truck tire I have had. I mostly drive highway however spend a ton of time in Tahoe in the winter. No road noise, good looking tread, and bomb in the snow and rain. Went with these after reviews from guys in Montana and Minnesota swore by them. Enough said. Spend the extra $100.

revo 1, not the new revo 2, allthough the r2 may be better on the highway, havent heard yet but they look like they might be. either way, im sure you'll like them, ive got em on my highlander & they're great in all weather, oh yea, & on the highway too.

destinations have a great warranty too not sure but think its 55k?? correct me if im wrong im going off memory from when we got em on my dads beas of a truck

I just bought the REVO 2's for a little under 800 out the door. They are amazing. When we mounted them we were like no way these are going to be quiet. The look like full blown snows with big time nobbies but they are nice and quiet and look as modern and agressive as you could ask. They are fantastic. Buy the REVO 2's you won't regret it.

I have my second set of Revos on (version 1) they are great in the rain , my next tires will be different since the Revo 2 seem to be such a mild tread . The pics and tires I have seen do not look aggressive at all. I want somewhat aggressive looking tires .

then go with general grabber at2's thats what i got in 265/70/16 at 132 a tire isnt bad at all...i am going with the grabbers for my next set for sure except in 285/75/16's with some spidertrax.. then my runner will be complete
