Detagged??

anyone got pics of their detagged 4th gen side doors and rear. doesnt matter. im getting the lift installed tomorrow and i am definitly taking off the sr5 emblems on the side but am not sure about how the rear will look so need examples please and quick thanks!!

All of mine are gone also, Very nice without them. If your already thinking of it just do it because I bet youll love it and wonder why it took you so long to remove them. Sorry I have no photos, but check out HOJEEPSTER's post on the 4th gen Lift and Tire central (pics)... Post 'em up! section. Its a great clean look.
 
HOJEEPSTERS looks so sick i actually commented on how it looked like a stealth bomber a few days ago but completely forgot. but his looks good because its dark do u think my color with the gold and plastic would look good or would someone be like y did he do that with that color its So Gay and if i take off the 4Runner emblem on the back can it just be gorilla glued back or will i be stuck if i dont like it?
 
well might be kinda late but try to cause im gettin my lift put on tomorrow with me my dad and his friend who has a shop. since my dad is iffy on the detag he wants his friend to do it since he does everything from ordering tires and installing them to repainting to a being a body shop

I was on the fence also on the rear untill I saw HOjeepsters post and after I did the rear I thought, what the hell was I thinking keeping them on as long as I did. I dont think color is a factor at all, meaning it will look just as good on yours as it does on the darker colors. I know there is a couple of pics of a white one with the rear removed and it looks very good, very clean look. I know the truck is a limited 4wd, a toyota and yep its a 4runner but I didnt need it all over the truck reminding me of it. Its just overkill, and again its all opinion and youll probably get a bunch of different aspects on it but if I had to do it again I would.
 
Nice thanks for the pics its a definite yes now just got to get pops' yes. and yea mtn. rush i was telling my dad that non car ppl wont know whether its a limited or a sport haha. but sport has the scoop so. but i still might be able to fool some folks.

best way to take them off is to heat the emblems with heat gun or hair dryer and use good fishing line to "saw" them off. then use your thumb to get the gunk off. i then use a clay bar to get what ever else is on there. then i go over it with a clear coat prep solution a have then spray eagle one detailer on it like i do after every wash. alo my buddy has a wheel for a drill and the gunk flys right off.
