Detroit steering rack

I got this a few days after ordering from DetroitAxle on ebay. They specified that it's brand new. I tried searching for anyone with some long term updates on it but not getting many hits. Anyone run it for a while yet?

I'm hoping it holds up to my daily commutes on the turnpike. I have my doubts but it has a lifetime warranty so worth a try.

You don't see all that many steering racks fail in general, but when it looks THAT nice? I think you should expect to see years of use out of it. I know it's not an "OEM" part, but it's a steering rack, how hard can it be to get right? I've personally not heard bad things about the various Detroit Axle products in the time I've been shopping for parts.
