Devices to connect IPOD to the OEM Radio

Definitely my car ( 2007 T4R SR5) does not have a plug to connect my IPOD. I checked it yesterday with the local dealer.

After some investigation I found three providers of cables to connect IPOD to the OEM radio. (mine is a Fujitsu CD/MP3/WMA player with CD changer control).
These providers are:

Please let me know your experiences with these devices. Prices differ and really I do not have enough information to select one.

I don't really have any input on your original question, but I'm curious; what explanation did the stealership give you about not having the aux input in the bottom of your center console?

I know the "Auxiliary audio jack (located inside center console)" is a standard feature on all 4Runners in North America, but I will be the first to tell you that I know nothing about vehicles for S America. Does your 4runner use propane, diesel or gas? I was down in Buenos Aires recently and didn't see a 4Runner the whole 2 weeks I was there. I did see some pretty cool TOY diesel pickups though.

As told by the dealer yesterday, 4runners for the latin american market are different than the ones sold in the US. I do not know the reason but I assume your market is very competitive and foreign cars must put all the features and functions possible to compete there.
The Chilean market is very competitive too. We have all the imaginable car brands here (from chinesse cars to ferrari, masseratti, etc) Nevertheless is a small market.

Toyota sells here three different model of the 4runner (SR5 4x2; SR5 4x4 and Limited 4x4). Mine is SR5 4x2 and I do not know if the other models include the IPOD connection.

Chile adopted an open economy by 1975 and since then our market offers all kind of electronics, cars, cloth for all over the world. Argentina is different. They have a more restricted access to imported goods.

I have no experience with the products you list, but I have had good experience with things I have gotten from Cruthfield (http://www.crutchfield.com/). They may not be the cheapest, but they do carry good products and have good customer service. They have many iPod car adapters and they have product customer reviews so you can tell if they are any good.

The manufacturer of the radio is Fujitsu. It is the standard radio in 2006, 07 and 08 4runners.
