Did anyone figure out if a 06 or 07 JBL 6 disk will fit a 05 JBL single disk opening?

Searching past posts, I can't seem to find a definite answer. I have the single disk JBL system in my 2005 (never again will I fall into buying a premium sound system in a car). Does the 06 or 07 6 disk JBL headunit fit into an 05 single disk opening or does that require the infamous changing out of the entire center colsole, climate control, etc ?

I don't even know if the 06 or 07 JBL has a single disk deck either.

No, it won't fit

You will need new bezel and AC-control unit, may be some body with a changer who wants to upgrade to built in gps can trade with you, single disk and gps oppening are the same. I have 06 CD-Changer in my 05 sport, and had to get both the bezel and AC control unit.
