First of all, thank you for everyone who did this before me and left awesome instructions. Made my life easy.
I replaced the front speakers with the Infinity Reference 3.5's. By far the best audio upgrade per dollar. I can actually hear the high's now.
I also did the Kicker sub under the seat. I still need to do some tunning with it but it already has rounded out the stock system very nice.
I did everything with tools I had to buy for about $450. $300 of that was the kicker sub.
For people who are going to do this, learn from my mistakes. Make sure you read the instructions carefully....and you don't accidently cut all 5 wires from the wiring harness for the speakers. Also make sure you get all the connections back into the head unit. I had to take it apart twice after I had it all put back together for the steering wheel controls and reverse camera.
I do have to brag a little....because I only had to go to Home Depot twice!
Tomorrow I am going to Dynamat all the doors and be done with the audio. Thinking about replacing all the interior lighting with LED's and then tires after that......I wish I didn't find you guys, my wallet would be much happier.
