Did this truck have a 4.7

I know it's not a 4runner but I could not tell if it had the 5.7 or the 4.7. Either way pretty impressive to get 1 million miles on it. I am hoping it had the 4.7 to make feel real good about my v8 4runner

In the article it states timing belt. 2007 the 4.7 had a timing belt while the 5.7 had a chain. It wasn't until later I think 2011? Or around there that Toyota introduced the 4.6, which among other changes. Had a timing chain

It had the 4.0 V6 actually, the Tacoma engine.

I have seen info about that particular vehicle - That truck was shown on “Texas State” fair some years back when it had around 600-700K on it… and for sure it has 4.7 V8 -same engine that V8 4Runners have;

That makes me feel good for two reasons.

1. I love the 4.7 and have them in two vehicles (03 4Runner, 06 Tundra)
2. I dont like Jalopnik. :smash::smash:
