Did Toyota do us a wiring solid?

This might be old news but have not seen mention of it in searching I have done. 2020 ORP and looking at options to get wires into the cabin to hook up light bar to switches. Looking at the main wiring harness grommet and noticed these.





This looks like they might have added a wire "run" and you can punch a little hole in the engine compartment side and pull through.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Are they used for something different I am not thinking about?

I used them both to run wires.

Those nipples are there just for running wires between the engine bay an the passenger cabin. Just be sure to seal them well in case you are ever in deep water.
