Did tundra brake upgrade and brake pedal mushy.

I did my tundra brake upgrade yesterday. I bled the brakes with the truck running and started farthest away from the master cylinder. My brake pedal still feels mushy. I used auto zone pads so I didn't need shims. Anyone have any thoughts or info to help me out.

Did u had someone else helping on pumping the brakes so u could bleed the air out? Or u did it your self with no extra help? If u did it by your self u might have air on the system or you might have issues with your master cylinder.

Drive 100 miles or so then bleed them again. Try and activate the ABS to dislodge any bubbles trapped in the modulator.

Yes forgot to mention that my wife was pumping the brakes for me.

Find a gravel road, go like 5-10 mph then hit the brakes hard so the abs engages. The brakes will feel like there is gravel stuck in them when it engages. You should do it several times, just for good measure.

if you hit a small but sharp bump while braking it usually triggers it.
