Just placed an order with [MENTION=12905]XenonDepot[/MENTION] using my rewards points in case they decide to discontinue that program. PayPal transaction shows the payment goes to TRS now.
Pre-TRS my order would ship out within one business day then arrive within a week even though it came from Canada; crossing my fingers with the TRS takeover the shipping will still be just as prompt, since the last TRS order I placed took several days after I placed the order before it was actually shipped.

Mine took over a week to ship and got no confirmation of shipping until I asked. Never happened when it shipped from Canada
I really hope it all changes. [MENTION=12905]XenonDepot[/MENTION] makes some good stuff and i've ordered from them time and time again in the past

It’s been over 24 hours since I placed the order and received email confirmation that my order was processed,but no shipping update yet. I’m already missing the pre-TRS Xenon Depot. If I wasn’t using the rewards points I would’ve just placed the order through Lightwerkz or DC Customs (a longtime XD dealer)

I've been buying quality parts from TRS for years (Several full retrofits) because anything they sell, they stand behind 110%.
Had nothing but top quality service from them when I had an early failure on a ballast. Sure anyone can have a bad experience, but I can tell you that is not the "Norm" with TRS!

Extremely sorry for the troubles here! We're doing our best to ship products as soon as possible. We're also ordering a lot more HID products to prevent any back-orders. We hired more warehouse guys to help with packing to speed the process even quicker!

Hi guys, know you guys are busy and it's always a mess when shipments in doesn't align with shipments out. Good to hear that you are still on the forum and working through challenges. I know my order has been a while but hearing from you on a public forum is comforting. Guess it'll come when it comes. I'm just hoping my order didn't get lost through the process. If you can DM me I can give you my order number and see if my order is still in the works and if you are just waiting for a shipment to come in.

Unless you are trying to get a warranty or something resolved you could try Automotive Lighting & Accessories: HID Kits | LEDs | Audio/Video. Excellent products and better then excellent customer service.

XD and TRS merger

Like many of you I learned about this merger after I purchased a full LED headlight lighting kit from XD. I only noticed this because the shipping notice that I received from USPS stated that I had a delivery coming to me from The Retrofit Source (TRS). I quickly figured out that the 2 companies must have merged, and then... I found this thread.
Anyhow, I believe that XD should have made this information more clear upon purchasing from their website. Frankly, had they made this information more prominent on their website I wouldn't have wasted countless hours researching XDs reputation... I would have simply purchased my kit without hesitation. I have purchased from TRS before and was very pleased with the quality of their products!
For those of you wondering about the order experience, I can tell you that I placed an order on May 27th (Memorial Day) at 8:30PM, and the items were shipped the next day! I am scheduled to actually receive delivery May 29th! So far, I am very impressed with XDs turn around time and responsiveness. Looking forward to a great experience and quality product!!! :thumb:

Xenon Depot HID Harness/Ballast dead
Based on the pre-2019 reviews and prior to XenonDepot changing hands, I purchased both HIDs for low beams and LEDs for DRLs/high beams. Everything worked fine for about 10 months. Unfortunately, the HID ballast just died on one side. Thankfully, HIDs are bright enough to somewhat compensate for the dead side. Troubleshooting, I switched bulbs just to make sure the bulb was not the problem and it isn't. I also put the original OEM bulb in after disconnecting the HID harness and ballast and the power is still good to the OEM plug inside the dust cover.
Anyone else have any problems with the ballast/harness from XenonDepot?
I have both a voicemail (awaiting the promised call back after 10m on hold) and an email to see if the ballast/harness might be covered under warranty. Keep you posted on that issue.
I may just bite the bullet and transition to LEDs for low beams as well. I need to resolve PDQ to stay legal.
