It looks like the ashtray has a 12V power outlet in it, too. Even though we don't smoke, if it has both the power outlet and lighter, then that should make it just like two 12V outlets.

The site says it fits in the cup holder, but the shape makes it look like it fits where the 12V outlet is today.

Maybe it will also fit the 2003 models?

Yea I saw that cup holder comment! I though that was funny actually. I'm wondering if the rear seat DVD system will work with my rear seat audio system. That would be cool! I like the tail pipe also!

Lighter is same as 2003 it replaces existing outlet and little glove box. Took me about 15 minutes to install

Does it have the lighter and a 12V power outlet, or just the lighter? That's what the picture seems to show, but since you have one, we can find out for certain.

Since it replaces that useless little box where the 12V outlet is with 2 outlets, it's well worth the money -- even for a nonsmoker!!

It's now on the list of stuff to order.

Ray -

Took a look at the truck, and it appears that the installation requires removal of one bolt in the console box, then to pop off the rear and middle console pieces. Is there anything else required to install?

NO BOLTS. I think you are looking too far back.
The little open box directly in front of the console box is not disturbed.
The console top you remove wraps around this open box just on the sides. Grab both pieces on each side on box and pull or might have to pry a little.

The entire bottom center console area (shifter location) is all tabs. Just pull and nudge here and there and it'll all pop out. No screws or anything is needed for this section

Pretty easy to remove and clean out the hard to get spots and also easy to do some mods around that area.

OK, I bought the ashtray accessory so I could get the second power port up front.

Took 5 minutes to install, and it works like a champ. By the way, the cigarette lighter has a ring around it that lights up when you have the headlights on.

By the way, I finally found a use for that little cargo box just above the cup holders -- it is just big enough for the power cord and headset for the cell phone.
