Did you upgrade your fog lights with LED bulbs or replaced the whole fog lights?

Hey guys,
Have you upgraded your fog lights? Did you replace the stock fog lights with LED bulb replacements or installed the fog lights kits? Anyone own Lasfit switchback fog lights?

I replaced them with a set of Baja Squadron SAE's. Easy install overall and they are perfect for my application.

Personally, I would never "upgrade" my fog lights by simply swapping the halogen bulbs for LEDs. The optics just don't work. (And don't even get me started on the bulbs that change colors.) I replaced my complete housings with Diode Dynamics SS3 Max fogs. No drop in bulb will even come close to this kind of performance - guaranteed.

OP - avoid that brand. their QC is bad, light output was weak and scattered, the color temp was was different between the two sides. trying to find a pic to upload of it. it is a DOWNGRADE. save ur time and money and keep your OEMs.

Agreed. Even moreso when I added a Brite Box, and now they stay on with the LED highbeams.

That combined with a 20in lightbar behind the upper grill means a wall of light from my t4r.

I did the Tundra LED Foglamp swap on my 2011 Limited and WOOOO baby is it SO MUCH BETTER.
Got a used set for $60, so much brighter and safer than the old-gold halogen that I couldn't even tell were on.

What brand LED High beams did you go with?

I didn't. I have a 2021 Limited which uses the OEM LED projector for low and high beams. The inboard light is DRL only.

It would really help the automotive enthusiast community if companies like yours would stop peddling ineffective drop in LED bulb lighting solutions for primary light sources as "upgrades". They dont perform and in many cases are harmful to other drivers.
