Diesel Engines Coming to Some Toyota Models

Sunday night Toyota made some interesting announcements at the Detroit auto show.

According to an article published in this morning's New York Times, Katsuaki Watanabe, the president of Toyota,

Bio-diesel anyone? If the 5th Gens came out with a diesel engine I would SERIOUSLY consider doing an engine swap on my 04.

Pretty sure the upcoming ('10 or '11 MY) Tundra dually will have a diesel in order to compete with the domestics for load and tow ratings.
