2017 Toyota Tundra Diesel Price - Toyota USA News

I don't generally follow this sort of stuff, is this a reliable website? I don't see anything on Toyota's website.

I saw this one mocked up back in 2008 with a Hino diesel in it, not the Cummins. It was nice, but would easy sell for $60k+ today.

I got to drive the Colorado with the 2.8 Duramax in it the other night. I am not one for mid size trucks but for those who aren't in the market for a full size one it is nice. A little pricey though.

As LC said, that 'prototype' was generating a lot of press back in the '07-'08 time frame. Then the recession hit, and talk of that making it into production stopped.

Lately, there has been some talk of the Tundra getting the same Cummins 5.0 V8 Diesel that's in the new Nissan Titan XD. I have yet to see anything confirmed.

I happen to know a guy on the inside. He is saying the diesel Tundra is hopefully making its way into the lineup around '17 but nothing has really been confirmed. Trust me, the dealers are just as hopeful as we consumers. everyone's been demanding a diesel and its looking like Toyota is being compelled to deliver.
