diff breather mod question

Hi

I am not able to get the Toyota parts in time to use a friends lift. Is there alternative unions and breathers available? What is the thread size and pitch on the stock rear breather?

Why do you need your friend's lift for the breather mod?

Don't know if you plan of doing other mods but to do the breather mod doesn't require a lift. Just drop the spare and you'll have plenty of room to work.

I have it planned to do my axle seals at the same time.

It would be nice then to do the breather at the same time as your seals but don't worry about it to much. I did this mod in about 20 minutes with the truck on the ground and without dropping the spare tire. It would be wiser to wait and use parts you are certain that will work rather than searching for something that's close.
