How many miles have you run with your lift without diff being clocked? There's no such thing as a diff drop for the 5th gen, it doesn't work like it does on older models or the Tacoma. It actually just clocks the diff slightly and improves your driveshaft angle. It did nothing for my CV angles at all. Choice is yours, I didn't notice any difference with or without it.
I'm looking in a lift kit( 3in front and 2in in back) for my Gen5, some companies say I need a front diff drop and say no I don't .
I ask for some people's input how have a lift on there Gen 5

I say not needed. My CV angles after Icon Stage 2. Got 3" up front and 2" in rear.

Though I do have a kit sitting in my garage I might just slap on there for the hell of it one day.
What is your center hub to fender lip measurement in the front?
