Diff Lock Bypass Issue

HI,

I have a 96 Limited, with the push button 4WD on the transfer case lever.

When the blue w/ red stripe wire going to the 4wd computer behind the driver's side kick panel is tied to ground, the front axle engages into 4wd. I can hear it.

This mod is supposed to only make it possible to use the e-locker without needing to be in 4 Low.

Any ideas on a remedy?

did you just ground the wire going to the plug ?

Yes, the the wire to the plug is grounded.

I used spade connectors so I can easily change it from stock wiring to the ground.

The 4wd lamp comes on as well...
