Diff & T-Case Washers - Help Please

For the life of me I cannot find the sizes of these needed washers.
I know the part numbers as follows:

Front Diff
Fill: 12157-10010
Drain: 90430-24003

Rear Diff
Fill: 12157-10010
Drain: 12157-10010

T-Case
D/F: 90430-18008 x2

My issue is this: The stealership is overpriced, although I would just deal with it if the place was close to me -- so I've chosen to go to the local part stores; however I cannot for the life of me get the size from the dealer or from searching the web/ forum. The local part stores can't cross-reference the toyo part numbers, and need sizes.

Anyone know this? An answer would be greatly appreciated!

Aren't these like $2 bucks each at the dealer? I rather pay couple bucks more than waste my time spending hours searching online and risking ordering the improper size.

Stuff like this is not costly at all at the dealer.

I even get oil filters at the dealer. Cheaper than fram filters at Walmart.

I hear you, the dealer is just a little ways from where I live. When I say a "little," I mean almost a half hour. But it pays to get it done right the first time, so I suppose I'll head that way. However, when I called the dealer and got the part numbers for the gaskets, they gave me the wrong part number for the front diff. fill washer
When I do go to the dealer I always stock up on oil filters and gaskets for the oil drain plug.

Get those from eBay. Just got 10 filters with drain plug gaskets for $38 shipped from a dealer in Texas. That's $3.80 each. Can't beat that.

Front diff is flat copper washer, 1-1/4 inches outside, 30/32 inches inside. Others are obvious crush washers 30/32 outside and 23/32 inside, maybe 24/32. Shouldn't be hard to convert to metric if that is what's required. If you don't happen to know, a Google search for, say, "30/32 inches in millimeters" will get you an instant answer.

That said, using new washers every time is overkill. Bare minimum, they can be flipped over and used twice, but I would'n't be surprised if they never had to be replaced. The only place I make sure and use new is the front diff since it's hard to check for a leak. The TC and rear diff are easy to check and I've never had a leak re-using washers.

Just got done doing the timing belt and all of that jazz; being the second owner, and doing the boxes for the first time, it was a good thing I replaced them. The transfer case drain plug's gasket was stuck on -- I'm fairly sure it was impacted on since I had to bend the gasket all around, prying with a flat head screw driver to remove it. All of the plugs were pretty tight. Also interesting to note that it seems as though the rear differential was serviced recently (prior to my ownership), as the front differential was quite nasty in comparison.

I bought mine used from a dealer in Macon. Lady who owned it lived in north carolina. Still had some of the destinations in the navi, it had been to st Simon island and a few other places. Anyhow, on topic, it had 25k on it and when I changed mine after purchase the front diff was a nasty grey, totally different from the rear and tc. Not sure if driving in the snow in nc had gotten moisture in it, or if that's just how it looks. I've seen other threads about the front being different as well. Seems like it had something to do with it being a different weight oil.

I'm happy now knowing that they're done, and done by me. Mine had been done at some point as the bolts were impacted on. Almost thought I broke my ratchet (using half of my jack's handle as a breaker bar), just to pop the front and rear differentials.
Happy to have M1 75w90 in, as well as M1's fully synthetic pink grease for my zerks. The runner is driving so smooth. There's no clunk when engaging 4lo, and the center locks quicker (as it seems to me). I was also able to get rid of the annoying clunk from the driveline.

Can anyone confirm if these are the same part numbers for 2004 v6 4.0 for the washers for diffs and tcase washers? What have you been running for oil for these recently? Synthetic or conventional, I'm open to either if its reviewed decently. Thanks. -Tom

I found the whole set of of washers on Amazon when I did mine. I believe I searched by the year and model, and there was a set for maybe $10 that had all of them. I did synthetic myself, but have read that conventional may be better in some cases for diffs. I’m not concerned though. I used M1 in the rear, and Supertech from Wallyworld for the transfer case and front diff. It was way cheaper, and rates very high (as good, or better than name brand synthetics.
