Difference between the Toytec 3" lifts

So I have searched for this, and I can't find a good answer on here.

What is the difference between the two Toytec 3" lifts?

3" LIFT W/ BILSTEIN 5100 HEIGHT ADJ COILOVERS FJ/4RUNNER:
$900
3" Lift W/ Bilstein 5100 Height Adj Coilovers FJ/4Runner

FJ CRUISER/4RUNNER ULTIMATE 3" LIFT PACKAGE:
$1200
FJ Cruiser/4Runner Ultimate 3" lift package

As far as I can see, they have different colored springs, the ultimate has sway bar relocate kit and spanner wrenches for adjusting the bilstein shocks.

What does the $1200 Ultimate Lift have that the 3" Lift w/ Bilstein Coilovers doesn't have? What makes the Ultimate better and worth an extra $300?

Background, I'm gonna ditch the Daystar and XREAS and do the full suspension swap sometime soon. Most important thing to me is ride comfort, but I do make a yearly trip down to Moab with a friend who's got an FJ, and there is no way I'm gonna let him get over something that I can't, haha! So I do some rock crawling and off roading a few times a year, so I do appreciate increased offroad capability.

The top ones are semi-adjustable and needs to be adjusted with a spring compressor, which means you basically have to remove the entire coilover to adjust.

the bottom one (the more expensive one) is a more traditional adjustable coilover and are fully adjustable with the hook tool that comes along with it. and only need to jack up tire off hte floor to adjust.

The more expensive one is a much better option, but at that price, you're better off going with Icons or Camburgs

From personal experience, I got the cheaper setup and ditched them a few months later, sold the ToyTec coilovers and got some Icons. And couldn't be happier about the choice. Riding on both coilovers, the difference is night and day, ToyTecs were really stiff and was uncomfortable on-road. Icons were awesome, very happy with my choice, I just wished I went straight for the Icons instead of buying the ToyTecs and losing both time and money reselling them for a less price and having to uninstall them and reinstall the Icons.

They are both using bilstein shocks. The ultimate just uses a easy height adjuster setup.

If you are going to spend that much look at the Icon options.

The more expensive ToyTec lift is $1200, the lowest I've found the Icon stage 1 is $1800. $500 is a pretty big difference in money I'd say. But this has given me something to think about, I think it will mostly depend on how much money I have to spend when the time comes to pull the trigger.

I'm just talking about the front coil overs. You don't necessarily have to get the icons in the rear. Bilstien shocks would be just as good of an option for the rear. But for the front cool overs, id go for icons

Keep in mind the shocks at the heart of that $1200 toytec kit is the Bilstein 5100. Those shocks can be purchased from DownSouth Motorsports for $309 shipped. If you heart is set on Bilsteins you might be able to peice together something cheaper.

But we brought up Icon as it is a damper at a different level than the off-the-shelf Bilsteins.
