The bottles are 1 quart bottles...
I thought it only required 2.something quarts for the rear diff?

RickyCRX said:d'oh! I didn't know -- I will know for next time; of course, that may be a long way down the road for me.
However, perhaps I may see about switching to amsoil for the engine as well.
Too bad there's no synthetic tranny fluid out there for the '03+ models. I just want to make sure this vehicle lasts me a long time.

RickyCRX said:Okay, another stupid question...
The owner's manual states 3.2 quarts for fluid drain and refill. Obviously there is a lot in the torque convertor and lines/cooler, etc... How much total would it take for a complete change over to this synthetic?
It seems to me like I'd need a couple of the 2.5 gallon jugs, which would cost about $150 according to the Amsoil website. Correct?

Thundercloud said:I couldn't find anything in my book about differential service unless you have a 4 wheel drive or drive your vehicle offroad. I just had my service done at 30,000 and my husband says that wasn't necessary. Just wondering if this is something that should be done that often if the vehicle is only driving on highways.

Also I got a pump from Amsoil that fits on the top of the quart containers and it made it very easy to refill.

I'm going to see if my local guy has one and then I'll do the job myself.
