I have an 06 T4R Limited V6, and sometimes when I go mess around in the sand dunes here in Texas, I feel like my 4Runner is a little lacking when it comes to power. I would guess that it's mostly attributed to the way the T4R compensates for a lack of a rear diff by using breaks and power management to control traction and slippage, but does anyone else ever feel like they have a lack of power. I just got some new Rocky Mountain ATSs and I feel like I should be doing much better in the sand, but instead I feel like I just dig myself in. What are my options here, and why aren't I doing as well as I used to? Is it just because I'm not airing down like I should (I was running at normal pressure) and this is all being compared with my experiences with my stock tires, the BFG Highway Terrains that were thrown on before.
