first off, i would like to thank everyone in this forum for all their valuable information. i've been researching how to add satellite radio in my car in this forum quite extensively, and i must say, there are some smart people who've integrated some very clever ideas into their t4r. it's fun and exciting to read posts on what people have done, and i have learned so much from so many different users...so thank you.
i have purchased an oem 07 t4r non-jbl radio and tuner+fit kit, so i have all the necessary parts to proceed. i have the instructions, have read posts here, and googled elsewhere. there is a great writeup i found, and i know this guy is a member on this forum somewhere:

i would like to know the difficulty of installing satellite radio. i'll need to swap out my old radio for the new one, which won't be a problem. i'm more concerned with dissassembling the interior panels, running the cord, and carving out a place for the tuner somewhere in the glove box or under the seat.
i've never worked on my car before, though, on my last suv, i installed a new radio and speakers with no problems. i am a biologist by trade, so electrical engineering is a little foreign to me. however, i am a technical, hands on type of person who enjoys taking things apart, and i'm pretty logical with things.
i'm looking for some feedback on someone that is kinda sorta in my boat, or perhaps knows where i'm coming from. thanks for all your help in advance.
