digital climate control problem

So I have been searching for so advice on what to do with my posessed climate controls and have come up with nothing. The buttons just randomly work. Is this something that can be fixed? I did see one post saying it was because of the buttons inside of the unit itself stating that they go bad. I am very technically and mechanically inclined. Is there somewhere I can order the buttons and solder them in or do I have to replace the whole unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They are tactile switches which come in different button heights. I would try a local electronics parts dealer. Bring it in and see if you can match the switches to their stock.
