Diode Dynamic Fogs

Has anyone replaced the stock 2-in-1 DRL/Fog Lights with Diode Dynamics?

I used the plug and play adapter, but the lights won’t turn on. The fuse was good. Tried The plug both directions.

Wondering if I need to tie both wires together for them to work. I talked to Diode Dynamics (very friendly) and they were not familiar with this stock option light.

I've never seen those before. Are you sure they are OEM and not aftermarket or dealer install?

I’ll trace the wiring tonight to see what I can find.

I ended up wiring the SS3 myself. Talking with Diode, this seemed to be the only option.

These lights are an upgrade option and popular at certain dealerships. The smaller connector is the only one needed in my tests. I followed the wire as far as I could without disassembling the engine bay, but didn’t find the logic box.
