I thought your trailer build was amazing as I started going through this, then saw it behind the sexiest 3rd gen ever. You have an amazing build man!

Maybe if I ever get around to building Version 2.0, I have some really cool idea's that I would like to incorporate into the next one.

I've been working on the trailer for a couple weeks now, mainly just little stuff before camping season starts. I bought a small shovel and mounted it under the firewood box lid, that will help to keep it out of the elements most of the time.



I also found a home for my splitting axe, both the shovel and axe are held in place with Quickfist mounts.



I repacked the wheel bearings with some high quality grease and added a better cap assembly, this should help to keep water out of the bearings during stream crossings. I also added some spline drive lug nuts for a little more security when the trailer is left unattended.

Next was the water system, this was a lot more time consuming. I started by plumbing the fill hose and hose adapter.



Then the water pump came next, it's not waterproof (really?) so I had to find a box to mount it inside of. I found a nice Pelican knock-off on Amazon that had the perfect dimensions.





I used weatherstrip adhesive to glue some grommets in place for the two water lines and the electrical wiring.



I found a nice spot under the trailer to install the box and pump.

Great Trailer! I've viewed this many times to confirm ideas, or get new ones from you. I've been looking at trailers here in Alaska and only found one that I've gotten excited about. I PM'd you about it.

Most trailers up here are light weight for ATV \ Snowmachine hauling. Others are too large.

I ended up building a facet, the one I bought wouldn't hold pressure and leaked.

Question, did you just bolt and revit on the metal sheet panel? Or did you weld it as well? because it look water proof.

Thank you! It was glued in place with silicone in addition to the bolts and rivets, that kept the water and dust out.
