Disabling Proximity Auto Unlock

Hi everyone,

My vehicle was burglarized over the night without any windows being broken into. I’m a stickler when it comes to locking my door, but my gut tells me that my key fob may have left my doors unlocked.

Is there any way to disable the key fob’s Auto Unlock/Wake feature?

You probably left the key withing close distance to the car. Either move the key farther away or put it in a Faraday Cage (or just wrap it in foil.

Once in place, walk outside and try to open the car. If the prox sensor is working, then your key isn't shielded enough or it isn't far enough away.
