Discs ejecting from changer

I have a 2008 Limited. I have a problem with the CDs automatically ejecting from the unit. Usually when this happens none of the controls on the headunit will be functional and the display will go blank. I can operate the controls on the steering wheel though. But all of the CDs will eject one after another.

Has anyone experienced this? Can this be fixed? Thanks.

do you have anything extra wired to the radio? that's really strange, and I'm wondering if you might have something like a handsfree device or something else plugged into the radio that could be shorting out. you might want to check the connections on the back of the radio? I don't really know what could cause that though

i have had that happen to me a few times in 100+ temp, the radio display goes blank, and it starts spitting out CDs.

That is what is happening. It does happen when the temperature is warm.

I don't have anything extra plugged in. It seems like it happens more often now.

I've had the same thing happen, again only when it's hot. The screen scrambles too when this happens and you hear a beep beep before CD's start ejecting. Here's a tip, if you don't pull out the first disk, the rest won't eject, so leave the disc sticking out when it happens. A restart works every time for me to fix the problem. Ditto on the temp. I had a JBL head unit and when it was really hot the screen would go dark and spit out CDs. For me, tapping the H/U would get the lights back on. It was one of the reasons I ended up replacing the H/U.
