Hi there, this post is super helpful. I actually just did the same thing, replaced the Muffler and Tail Pipe on my 2003 4Runner, but I am having an Exhaust leak/noise coming from where the muffler connects to the Cat pipe with the spring bolts; and for the life of me I can't figure out why! Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Did you use the correct gasket for this joint ? Should use gasket like Walker # 31639 , kind of like a 1/4" thick bowl shape thingy, larger diameter one end and smaller diameter at the other ( I know its a lousy description ). My 2 cents.
