Even if you have a 'good' mechanic you should always check over the work as much as you can. Anyone can goof. I've found bolts not torqued down correctly, electrical connectors not connected, even one time a distributor bolt missing. I always tell them after. The honest ones look embarassed and apologise, sometimes give you a break or discount on something else. The crooks/jerks deny it or blame you.
