Do I need a More Powerful Battery? will this affect battery life?

for me i cant put another battery under the hood, my trueflow xdi intake is in the way, but yea i blast my stereo loud, i have 3 amps, all jl audio, 2 300/2 and a 500/1, i have zero dimming now since i upgraded the battery to the odyssey pc1700mjt in stock battery tray, also did the big 3 upgrade with 1 gauge cable. so far so good, but wen i have a long bas note, my voltage go from 13.4 to 12.3 quick, try playin that tone 50hz to the subs for over a min and tell me if the voltage dont drop.

u know what, everyone has there own taste in things, so i cant recommend u to upgrade unless u really want it, that being said im not here to pick fights with anyone

Sounds like you have a good set up.

There is no point in playing a continuous 50hz note though because music is dynamic and I highly doubt there is any song that has that long of a low note in it.

I think his point was, that unless you're at a sound off where you would need to produce a 50Hz test tone, it is pretty much pointless since 99.9% of the time you'll otherwise be listening to dynamic sound which will fluctuate how much power really is needed in those extreme cases.

But yes riceandpho, I have heard of them. I go visit caraudio.com and their bass track thread to get ideas for good bass sounds, but a lot of the times I can't find a good download. I do have a solid 60 songs though that are pretty bass friendly.
