Do I need a ramp?

I put a cardboard box together to hold the skid plate at the right height for removing and replacing the bolts.
So you have the metal filter housing. Did you swap the longer inner tube yourself-any issues bending the tabs to hold the tube in place?

I used a floor jack and jack stands for the first 10 years on my 2013. Got a pair of ramps and it's a lot easier. It goes up at an idle in 4 low.

I’m age 69, soon to be 70. I’m still able to scoot back on my back to get under my 2022 SR5 Premium 4WD on 265/70R17 tires, to change the oil and filter without jacking the truck up or driving it up on ramps. My truck does have the factory shield panels installed under the front.

I did however have a local 4WD shop install Bilstein 5100 front shocks on my T4R, lifting the front end 1.75”. That probably helps a little bit with me crawling under the front end.

I might fashion me a couple of home made ramps out of a couple of stacked 2x10s for both sides to raise the truck up roughly 3+ inches which may make things a bit easier for next time.
