Do I Need Spacers

I have a set of 15X8 Cragar wheels with 4.75 back spacing. I'm mounting 33X12.50 on them. Will I need spacers or do you believe the tires will clear the control arm without rubbing. I know I'll have to do some pounding but need to know if I should get the spacers or not. Have a 3.5 hour drive coming up soon and don't want any rubbing.

Yes you are going to need spacers. I have stock wheels which have about 4.75 BS with 11.5 wide tires and i just barely clear the UCA. You will want to get the hub centric ones too.
 
x2..Those 1.25" Hub centrics should do the trick..Going for the 1.5" ones might create more rubbing on the fenders when wheels are turned..since you already have wider tires to start with.
 
Ok thank you both. Now with it being a Cragar wheel will it matter if it is hub centric or lug centric when it comes to the spacer. Not to question you guys just want to make sure.

Aftermarket wheels are rarely Hub-Centric but just to be sure...measure the bore diameter on your Cragar's and base your answer on that. If the bore size of the wheels measure 100mm then you have to go with Lug centric...if 108mm then your choice is Hub-centric spacers..

Better yet fit the wheels directly on the truck, if it fits nice and snug then it's obviously Hub-centric.

Ok, so from reading the jeep forums and such they seem to be lug centric. I had them on my last 4runner with no problems and they fit very snug. Anyways, they are 4.250 in so after some mental math it's more than 100mm. So it comes out to 107.95 *facepalm* So with that said can I go either way or should I defiantly stick with one? I'm assuming round up to l08 mm hub centric though ha.

I just remembered now..aftermarket Lug-centrics such as yours are equivalent to toyota's Hub-centrics...

And seeing as you have pics of the wheels mounted on the 4runner, then definitely buy Hub-centric spacers..
 
Uhh... just one thing.

Have you already test fitted the wheels on the truck?

Last time I checked, Limited's only came with 16" wheels, with bigger brakes.

If you didn't have 15" wheels stock than a 15" won't fit on your truck, due to the caliper size.

Idk if there's something special about the cragars that would negate that but I doubt it.

Well at least we got it figured out ha. I went ahead and placed the order for the hub centrics. Thanks for helping me out everyone especially you blcktpgsr...Repped.

From what I researched they will fit without have to mess with the calipers. But If not I'm changing the brakes out so we'll see.
