do most wheeler care about image or not

I love wheeling, and Im NOT afraid of Colorado pinstripping, but on the flip side, I take some pride in my ride, and like it to as new as possible.
I do what "I" like, I like wheeling, and I like detailing, so Im happy either putting, the pinstripping on, or making the rig look new :thumb3:

I shouldn't say I have a white 4runner.... It's more cream with allot of crooked pinstripes. I look at it as part of wheelin. My most recent dent Im not happy about but it is motivating me to buy steel for a bumper so I guess it's win win

for me as long as all my glasses are not broken and my doors still close, thats good enough for me.

I dont really care about damage, I dont even think about scratches. I am not going to wax my truck, I rarely wash it/ clean it. When i cant see the gauges from the dust ill wipe the inside down. I dont try to get damage, but it happens. and If I can avoid it I will.

I really really dont want to flop my truck. THats it for me. The only other spot I kind of hate to damage is the quarter panel in the rear, but thats were most of my damage is. Fenders/doors/rear hatch are all replaceable it you completely smash it and cant stand the dents

I'm all about clean too. This is also my DD and I don't want dings of any sort. Pissed that I just had my grille painted and found a nice rock chip yesterday.

When your Runner is your DD and especially if you drive in inclement weather then you have to expect some wear and tear on the paint and trim but it is a lot harder to deal with when you have a pristine new vehicle.

I'm trading a little wear and tear for fun off road so as long as I enjoy using my truck off road then I'll deal with some of the consequences but I'd like to get my wife a used stock 4Runner (late 3rd or 4th gen) just for street use and that one I would be a little more OCD about.

I Keep my truck as clean and free of marks as possible. but if made the marks and nobody else I feel proud. Like a tatoo, its history and memories you agreed to in the end

^^^ totally agree. One weekend ill spend 4 hours waxing and polishing. Next weekend ill be wheeling and if it gets scratched both bother me at all.

For now it's my DD so I keep it looking decent. I won't not go through a trail cause it's narrow or I'm gonna get scratched. But on the flip side I won't set boxes on the hood either. Mines black so everything shows on it.

Just because I wheel her doesn't mean I need to let her look like **** either.
