Do our transfer cases require friction modifier?

From what I understand the transfer case has a torsen diff. Does that mean it requires a friction modifier? This will help me decide what oil I will buy.

no the xfr case lube does not need an extra friction modifier or a specialty lube with it. any gear lube of the right 75/90 weight will work. i like & use valvoline its a quality oil & priced better than most others.

Not required... Torsen is fully mechanical / gears based LSD.

ended up getting Mobil 1 Delvac 75w90 for front, center and rear.
