Do you chase down other 4th gens on the road?

I know i do! Everytime i see one, i try to catch up with him/her and check what trim (SR5, SE, Limited, etc.) they have. haha! :lmao:

I do .....sometimes!!....I see at least one everyday in the morning on my way to work and one in the evening when I'm heading back home ...and for some reason It looks like my Runner is the only one around my area in Driftwood or gold (and I dont feel left out , I feel unique )....all others that I see are dark colors shadow mica, navy blue..a lot in silver..a couple of white and black...just one in probably a year in gold besides my baby...

I don't chase them down but I always look at them and figure out what gen they are and trim level. I will go out of my way to park next to one in a parking lot. I actually walked up to another silver sport and couldn't figure out why it wasn't beeping when I hit the unlock button... only to figure out I was one isle over. I felt really dumb for not noticing the lack of TRD stickers and Brola exhaust.

I always get noticed when i drive my mustang other mustang drivers always wave regardless of year. The 4Runner just blends in too much to every day life for the average point A to B driver to notice...and ALL of us not that driver.

I came out of Target yesterday to find this...I was all by myself when I got there. I'm the meet in the sandwich.

Tempting but I don't. I always think in the back of my mind. 17 year old kid in a honda chasing a 17 year old kid in a honda. Now if I drive past one or the other way around I will take a look.

Oh, and I have to agree, there are a lot of females who drive T4Rs, which is not a bad thing, but I never really see many males. Counter point to that though is that I always get nods and waves from the male drivers - females look freaked out when I wave!

LOL... With my luck, i haven't seen any females driving 4th gens except for once who was a BBBW. HAHA!

I think the only few times I've "stalked" other drivers were when they were driving Ferraris, or Lambos. One Lamborghini I spotted was being driven by boxing middleweight champ Jermain Taylor, who lives here in the Little Rock area. Of course, the license plate said TAYLOR 2, or something like that, and I recognized him as well.
Too many 4Runners - too little time! The few 4Runner peeps I've talked to out of the blue hadn't heard of this website, and acted like they were too good to go here.

Oh well. Their loss...

I can't do that! I'd never get where I am going. Since purchasing my T4R, I've noticed that at least one out of ten vehicles on the road is a T4R around here.

same here i am the only dorado gold 03 with plastic cladding in Greenville SC and the only 4th gen lifted everybody always sees my truck in parking lots and want to stop and talk to me

in sugarland & houston, i tend to pull up next to stock 4th gens to show off just a little bit by vibrating their trucks with my thumping bass lol. not too many modified 4th gens here in my part of texas. i only know one other 4th gen with 22s and just a little less blue than mine
