Do you have a door key hole on your passenger door?

Seems strange, but I can only unlock my 2006 Limited with a key on the driver's side door. No keyhole on the passenger side door. Is that what you all have?

Yes, just the drivers door and rear hatch.

Is this your first modern (i.e. newer than about 2003-ish) vehicle? Most vehicles these days only have a key lock cylinder in the driver's door and possibly the trunk.

I tend to buy used and hold onto my cars a long time. So, yes, my 2006 4Runner is my "new" car acquired after my 1997 4Runner (aquired in 2001) met an early death on some ice a year and half ago. I usually buy good "pre-owned" cars and have had very good results. Consequently, I am usually behind the latest trends in the automotive world!

I was curious about that as well. And since I bought mine used, I went to the dealership and had them pull up my VIN and they showed me it apparently had a "passenger door key lock delete".
