I use the WeatherTech sunshade - custom fit to the 5th Gen 4Runner.

Fits great, rolls up for storage with a velcro strap, and has a dual-purpose design (the reverse side helps heat the windshield in winter - although that may not mean much to you where you are ... lol).

I've got the covercraft in blue. I wish it was a tiny bit wider, but it works. It's been hot here lately. I believe I found a coupon of something for a little bit of savings. It is expensive for a sunshade...

Side note: found some side shades for our 4runner on ebay, from china.. I use it for camping along with the front. It gives me a couple hours extra of sleep when the sun rises early.

That looks like a really tight fit around the rear view mirror. Any issues getting in and out without bumping the mirror?

The Weather Tech sunshade is a good fit for the window, and the shade itself is flexible enough to be able to work it around the rear view mirror.

Helps if you are patient and not in a rush to install/remove the shade. I've likely only bumped the mirror out of place a couple of times.
