The Dobinsons MRR Shocks are fully rebuildable, but there are no fuse-like elements in them that make us say that "they may need to be rebuilt at 20-25k miles" like some other brands have in place. That's a main reason why it's a full 2 year replacement warranty, if it's not a simple fix.

It's not the most exciting video in the world, but here's a breakdown of how they come apart and what's involved in rebuilding them. We just don't offer the rebuilding ourselves here.

Technically speaking - any shock is rebuildable. Some do, some don't. Shipping everything back to Australia doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me.

HOWEVER - I love the Dobinson product line. Solid stuff.

The MRR's (for my needs) were a bit harsh without a load. With a load, they were compliant, and did the job very well off-road and on. That said, I needed some extra suspension travel.

Will likely keep Dobinson on my radar if any other needs arise.
